An engaging and emotive storyteller and ‘Stem-inist'

Thank you so much for such an inspirational talk, you certainly chimed with many of the audience.

We were fortunate to have Ella speak at our 2021 International Women’s Day virtual event at Kimberly-Clark. Having Ella as our keynote speaker added tremendous value to our event about choosing to challenge gender stereotypes and biases. Ella shared her experiences working as a women in a mainly male-dominated industry and offered perspective on how we can all be better advocates for women in the workplace and beyond. We are grateful to Ella for participating in our event and would welcome her back in a heartbeat!

Ella provided an insightful and informative discussion on our Women in Science and Engineering day, her approachable and down to earth delivery really engaged our employees at all levels and was a fantastic addition to our day.

An energetic, passionate and heartfelt talk by Ella about diversity and inclusion. Her unique STEMinist journey has emphasised her message, how change starts by encouraging everyone to act and perform little steps. The attendees loved her and it was one of our highlights this year!

The presentation given by Ella gave the attendees an interesting viewpoint into an exciting industry with learnings that can be applied in our own. She spoke openly and honestly about the differences between paying lip service to diversity and direct action, as well as outlining advice and tools that can be used to challenge gender equality when we see it in others and in ourselves. The topics covered encouraged a very active discussion between colleagues which have continued on past the talk.

This talk stood out because of the way the speaker communicated her personal story about the good and bad of a rising career in the motor racing industry and then recounted her wealth of experience in relation to diversity and inclusion. A moving and thought provoking event.

I specifically enjoyed the diversity and equality element, thinking about aspects we might not necessarily be aware of that we should consider along with her personal history and how she came into project management. I liked that fact she talked about feminism, being to be seen as equal - not burning bras!

It was lovely to meet you and hear your story even as a non-engineer and only occasional motorsport fan. It was very relatable, and I think the points about inclusivity being overlooked with the headline of diversity were very powerful. We have certainly received lovely feedback from all quarters.

Ella has an incredible wealth of knowledge in business and the industry and as a result I learned a lot from my time working with her. She is dedicated, hard working and a true asset. A pleasure to work with.

It is a well-known fact that it’s very hard to work on your business at the same time as working in it. Working with Ella has allowed us to do just that. She got to the heart of who we are as a brand and how we operate and has translated this into usable processes and unique policies, presented in a creative way that fits into our business perfectly.  We are very excited to be moving forward with an even more professional business thanks to Ella.
